I set on a journey back from work and i passed the pear tree. I was startled by the amazing choice of menu and the accomadation and service as i entered. There is a nice atmosphere in the pear tree its is relaxed and warm and the staff are very friendly. I asked if there was any chance of a table for 1 on a saturday night they said "I'm afraid its absolutly packed but im sure i can find u a space" I sat down on a old rustic cushoned window with a nice view of the garden lit by the car park lights, the tables are nice solid wood with nice comfey seats. The place was candle lit, with a nice feel. I ordered the sea trout, it was cooked to perfection and there was nice sauce to complement the fish, there is a massive selection of food and also a great wine list. I reccomend the pear to anyone as they have so much to offer.
